ferm LIVING Lamps

ferm LIVING started with wallpaper—or rather, a lack of it. In 2005, founder and creative director Trine Andersen had just moved into a house with her husband. They couldn’t find wallpaper that suited their taste, so Trine decided to make her own. Before she knew it, she had made 10 different kinds, which she exhibited at an expo in Denmark. They didn’t have the funds to start manufacturing all 10, so they started with one wallpaper and a handful of prints.

That marked the beginning of ferm LIVING, which grew much quicker than they had ever imagined. These days, the business is home to a range of talented employees and a vast ever-growing product portfolio spanning furniture, home accessories, and lamps.
