The collaboration between Joan Gaspar and
Marset began in 1996, and since then, Gaspar has been developing new products and steered the design firm in new directions. For decades, the firm has been known for being more than just an average lamp company, but rather an innovative design firm with a range of exclusive products of exquisite quality. Something Joan Gasper has always appreciated when it comes to lighting and design.
Joan Gaspar was born in Barcelona in 1966. This is where he grew up, and his interest in designing and creating lamps began to develop in 1988, when he started working with VAPRO SA. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with a range of design firms, including Roca, Resol, Made Design, and Marset. Although his style of design has been in a state of constant development, he has stayed true to his minimalist origins.
Amongst his works is the popular
Plaff-on wall lamp designed for Marset. A wall lamp made from high-quality aluminium and handblown opal glass. The compact shape of the lamp sets it apart and ensures soft lighting for any hallway.
