Ingo Maurer has reliably developed extraordinary lamps, fabulous lighting, and imaginative furniture since the mid-60s. Although many of the designs are produced by Ingo’s team, the company has also been known to commission other designers.
Five decades later, Ingo Maurer and his team of colleagues have grown to more than 60 people. For a long time, the company’s address was in Schwabing, Munich, which was a farm at Kaiserstraße 47 since 1970. When the production facilities finally became too small in 2005, the company relocated to a new office on the outskirts of Munich. The old location now functions as a showroom, where

The project department has undergone fascinating developments over the years and nowadays, they handle designs for conference exhibits, parties, and light installations for the YaYaHo brand.
Ingo Maurer takes on tasks ranging from stand-alone lighting fixtures to complete interior designs that consider everything down to the last detail. Aside from their original collection, the company emphasises product development and maintaining a high level of creativity, as this helps strengthen and inspire the brand.
