Horizon in forest green: Scandinavian design with a personal touch

In a magnificent display of floating forms and a perfect balance between light and heavy elements, the Horisont lighting series from Swedish Belid presents itself in a beautiful and accessible design that exudes Nordic grace. The mastermind behind the beautiful lighting series is Swedish designer Joakim Fihn, who has worked with Belid since 2008. During this time, Fihn has created numerous lamps, all with the same stylishness and rigor that sets the tone for Scandinavian design. The slender frame, the flat, beautifully flared shade, and the marvelous multi-layered design take inspiration from Poul Henningsen's creations and carry the Scandinavian design tradition forward into modern times.

The lamp collection includes pendant, floor and table lamps. The floor and table lamps use replaceable LED bulbs, while the pendants' light source is built into the lamp. All are characterized by their wide, beautifully shaped shade, which so far has come in a nice metallic champagne color with a matte finish. However, we can now present the well-known lamp in a new special edition with a shiny forest green surface. The shiny surface attracts the eye, while the muted, deep shade discreetly adds a beautiful play of color. This variant is especially ideal for anyone looking for classic Nordic design but in a colorful variant to add a personal touch to the interior.
