Background
Paolo Rizzatto was born in 1941 in Milan. At the age of 24 took received his Masters in architecture from the Polytechnic University in Milan.

In 1978 he founded the company Luceplan together with Riccardo Sarfatti. In addition to his work for Luceplan, he has designed for Arteluce, Artemide, Luceplan, Alias, Cassina, Nemo, Molteni, Knoll, Kartell, Philips, Montina, Thonet and Guzzini.

His projects in architecture and design have been exhibited at many leading museums – including MoMA in New York, the Victoria and Albert Musuem in London and many more.
