Woud Lamps

Things have happened quickly since 2014 – it didn’t take the Danes long to fall in love with the unique designs, and the brand has experienced huge success. Their mission was, and still is, to find the biggest design talents and make their innovative and unique designs accessible to everyone. In 2019, Woud is collaborating with more than 30 different talented designers who all share a passion for simple and Nordic design. Without compromising on functionality and design, they create stylish designs fit for Nordic décor.

The team of designers comprises up-and-coming as well as more established names. Philip Bro, the man behind the lovely Stone Pendant , inspired by the soft, round stones you find on beaches is one of the faces on the team. Rikke Frost, the designer behind the gorgeous Dot Pendant is another. A product to note is the Gap Pendant , which is a simple and feminine collection of pendants, available in black and white, paired with brass. The collection was designed by Studio Nur, who have combined the raw, external expression with a feminine inside to create a warm and cosy light.

The Danish design firm is based in Søndergade in Horsens, and their entire business model revolves around perfection and honest design. Mia and Torben strive to be innovative in terms of shape, functionality, and choice of materials, and they have a burning desire to share their love of design with all their customers. This is clear to see in their wide assortment comprising everything from coffee tables and lounge chairs to original lighting solutions.
